Mrinda was orignally produced in Spain. It became available in the United States in late 2003.

Mirinda campaigns over the years have included the Mirinda Woman campaign in the 1970s and a campaign in the 1994-1996 time frame with a campaign using the tag-line 'The Taste is in Mirinda' with the Blue Man Group.
